As the Global Missions Team of Peace Lutheran Church expands its ministry, we are always looking for ways to interact with and support our church family. We are, therefore, pleased to announce the creation of our Peace Missions Blog! The blog will be used to keep readers up to date on the activities of the Global Missions Team. And as we prepare to send members of our church to Haiti and Tanzania on mission trips, they will be able to record their experiences to share with us. And we will be able to send them messages and prayers in return. What a great way to support our missionaries! So stop by frequently to check out the latest updates.
We encourage everyone to attend the 10:00 am service at Peace on July 13 as we commission our first group of missionaries heading to Haiti. How appropriate since that Sunday is also Mission Sunday and we will be hosting a Tanzania-style worship service. Please come to experience something truly unique and to give our Haitian mission team your support and prayers.

Thanks Melody. Awesome job. If our connection stays up in Haiti, we should be able to post daily. The support,love and prayers from everyone has been humbling and overwhelming. I thank God for all of you and thank you for saying yes to God. In His Service
Thanks to everyone! Today is the day before we leave and I will honestly say that the nerves and the excitement are getting there. I thank everyone for the prayers and support you have given and I praise and thank God for this opportunity.
